Another week of home learning completed!
Good afternoon all.
I hope this message finds our entire Edmund Rice College school community safe and well. We come to the end of another busy week on our online learning platforms. The work being produced has been incredible, so a big well done to all our parents, guardians and pupils! You should all be extremely proud of yourselves!
This week, we received guidance in relation to GCSE and A Level examination from most, if not all of the examination boards. Parents and pupils will undoubtedly be anxious at this time, but please be reassured by the fact that our pupils always perform exceptionally well in their GCSE's and A Levels. This year will be no different!
We have been blown away by your commitment to your studies. The challenge was set a number of weeks ago to use this time to learn some valuable life skills. As always, our pupils excel when challenged! The masterpieces created in the kitchen were a joy to see. Further recipes have been posted this week- I hope to see even more getting involved.
From Monday, we will have our Google Classroom and Website updated with work for May. This month will be dedicated towards project style work. There will be projects set for Years 8-10 in all subjects. Pupils should complete the projects over the next four weeks and send them to our info account email address with the name of their teacher. This will enable our teachers to give feedback to the wonderful work produced. Years 11-14 will continue to be set work on Google Classroom.
Well done on another great week. We are very proud of you all.
See you all on Monday and we will do it all over again.
Take care
Mr Berne.
