Dear Parent/Guardian.
Please find attached our internal Christmas Examination timetables for Junior and Senior School. The examinations will run from Wednesday 8th December to Tuesday 14th December. Pupils should spend time over the next few weeks revising for each subject.
All pupils will have one study day at home. Year 11 and 12 pupils will only attend school when they have exams or portfolio days during this period. Year 11 and 12 pupils are free to leave after their exams/portfolio clinics each day. Sixth form pupils must attend full school days. Any relevant mock examinations will be set by the class teacher during the same time period. Sixth Years will be provided with a study day, with the date to be confirmed.
Our Year 12 pupils will be sitting their Maths and English GCSE’s in the next fortnight. They have worked incredibly hard over the past few months, attending after schools classes and in school revision sessions. We have been so proud of their efforts and wish them well in their exams. As a result of these exams taking place in November this year, the internal mock exams in English and Maths will not take place at Christmas as usual. The Year 12’s will sit their mock exam prior to February mid-term. The examinations in Sport in Year 12 on Monday 13th December are official tests set by the examination board and will be carried out under full examination conditions.
