Exciting Times Ahead for ERC

Development Proposal Decision

As you are aware, over the past number of months, there has been a public consultation regarding the future provision of Post-Primary Education in our area and in particular on the proposal that Edmund Rice College will expand and become co-educational on 1st September 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Today we have received a decision from the Department on this proposal. Following lengthy deliberations, the Minister has decided to APPROVE the proposal.

This is an exciting and historic day in the history of Edmund Rice College and our wider school community. The staff and Governors are very welcoming of this news and excited by the prospects and opportunities it creates. I hope this helps to keep you informed of developments in our school.
