This has been an extremely challenging year, especially for our students who were due to sit their GCSE examinations.
As you know, our pupils will receive calculated grades which will be statistically modelled and potentially adjusted by the examination boards.
Results for GCSE pupils will be published on Thursday 20th August 2020. We have put in place additional measures to allow for the distribution of results and any necessary guidance.
On GCSE Results Day, results will be distributed by class at specific times and we would ask that pupils do not access the site outside of these designated times unless by appointment.
Pupils can be accompanied by one parent if they wish. Pupils will receive their results in the Technology Block. Any pupil intending on returning to Edmund Rice College for their post 16 studies must confirm option choices in the assembly hall immediately after receiving results.

A one-way system will be in place and it is important that all pupils follow the guidance of staff on the day.
Students should access the school via the back gate to the yard and leave through the front doors at reception if visiting the assembly hall, whilst maintaining social distancing throughout.

Please note that current Year 12 students will confirm their post 16 choices after receiving their GCSE results on Thursday.
If you are an external student and wish to study A'Levels at Edmund Rice College, please attend the school between 11am and 1pm on Thursday 20th August.
