Mr Berne’s end of week message
First full week of home learning over! 📚
A big thank you to all our parents & pupils for all their support over the past week.
We are very proud of you all for making such a big effort during this difficult transition.
We now have nearly 500 pupils on Google Classroom. For those still struggling, we will have weekly packs available on our school website from Monday for years 8-10, which everyone will be able to access. I Hope this will be an extra help.
I know you have enjoyed all the quizzes set this week & these have been a great addition. Well done on some great scores & to see so many pupils working hard.
Today our phenomenal Technology and Science Departments donated goggles, aprons and masks to the NHS.
A reality check for us all of what is really important right now! Your education is important but nothing is more important than your health and wellbeing.
Dip in and out of your work, you aren't expected to complete six hours a day, nor are you expected to complete ALL the work set- It just isn't possible.
There are enough resources to keep you going but the most important thing to us is that you remain healthy & safe at this time.
Now put the books down, turn the computers off and look after your mental health.
Remember what is important!
We miss you all & will see you again soon!
Have a great weekend!
Mr Berne.
